Y Diary #6
Last night I went to the Y a little bit earlier than usual. I used the Elliptical and burned 360 calories. Then I did some tricep workouts, some sit up machine simply titled Abdominal, and some leg extensions. It was kind of crowded in that area so I went on a virtual bike ride. I got so far ahead of my pacer. It was awesome. The trail I was on was called Coastal Trail. I didn’t see any water or anything, just lots of sheep. It must’ve been in New Zealand or something. I burned 130 calories on that bike ride. I think it was probably more than that because you don’t put in your weight or age on that.
Then it was time for Aqua Kickboxing. There was actually a guy in the class. This girl brought her boyfriend with her. Haha. And then later there were two teenage boys that joined in. There was so much kicking. Fast kicking then slow kicking then more fast kicking. Lots of pulsing. We also did this new move called the frog jump which I liked. Good work out.
After class I went into the sauna and that old lady with the see through bathing suit was in there. Creeeeeeeeepy. The couple that was in kickboxing came in too. I guess it was their first day being a member. They said they really liked the class and talked about how hot their apartment was, softball, and how aqua jog looks lame. They only lasted five minutes. Then in walked this ghetto looking kid and a guy that looked like Mario with big pecs. I didn’t talk to them at all. I stayed in there about 15 minutes and then left. I would’ve swam some laps, but the pool was too crowded for my liking.
I’m going to try to go in the morning before work tomorrow.
